Aids is here in Somalia probably imported from Ethiopia and Kenya.
What we have in our favour in avoiding an epidemic is the islamic nature and lack of promiscuity in our society.
This should leave it at manageable levels.
According to the UN the estimates are 1-2 % maximum and that compares well with Developed western countries, while
our nieghbours are suffering from levels like 10 and 20 %.

One think though that worries me is the new practices by todays new Waddads who think its an obligatiion to have 4 wives.
A practice of marrying young women mostly teenage and then divorcing them after a couple of years seems to be happeneing allot.
If this isnt a recipe for disaster then what is.
