I think Gaas needs to start printing counterfeit money again. Broke PL can't even pay it's security forces , had to start printing fake money to pay them with that, the PL fake money caused massive inflation to Somali Shilling s o they had to stop. That's the real reason fat Gaas sent 2400 soldiers to Xamar. He wanted SFG to pay them instead.

The Monitoring Group investigated unregulated currency printing in Puntland during its previous mandate, concluding that counterfeit currency printed in the State Bank of Puntland without any regulation or approval from the Central Bank of Somalia had caused inflation and civil unrest on multiple occasions. The Security Council expressed “concern at the generation and distribution of counterfeit Somali currency”

On 6 February, Puntland Presidential Guards protested over unpaid salaries in Garowe. The cashier assigned to process the guards’ salaries was abducted, but he was released later the same day. Another protest was held in Garowe on 26 February by the Darawish (Puntland regular force). The protests ceased on 27 January at the same time as significant quantities of counterfeit Somali shillings appeared to the money exchange market in Garowe, strongly indicating that the Puntland forces had been paid in freshly printed money.4 Open source and confidential security reports from April and May 2017 indicate that the security forces of Puntland were again on the brink of mutiny because of unpaid salaries.

Though the President of Puntland, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali “Gass”, denied the existence of “Puntland Money” in a Parliament session held on 6 August, the Monitoring Group concludes the Puntland authorities continue to cover the salaries of the security forces by printing counterfeit money with a printing machine located in the State Bank of Puntland, Bosaso.11 Both unregulated currency printing and the countermeasures taken by the Puntland administration against inflation not only endanger the peace and security in Somalia, but also promote the dollarization of the economy and complicate the goal of achieving an independent monetary policy in Somalia. The direct effect is most severe on the poorest consumers, who do not have access to US dollars.

Fatman Gaas and his cronies are trying very hard to destroy the Somali Shilling so the U.S. dollar will reign supreme in PL forever, of course the fat man and his cronies have already looted and horded up most of the U.S. dollars in circulation in PL.

This is why PL can't fight 200 ISIS soldiers , PL is broke as fuck. Those 2400 soldiers sent to Xamar should have never been sent when there's still 200 ISIS and couple hundred Al Shabab in PL. Clean up your own backyard before you go and try to mow someone else's lawn. Of course those with a brain realize that PL can't actually pay it's soldiers so they sent those 2400 South to get paid, instead of keeping them in the north to fight the obvious threat in their own backyard.
