UAE and Switzerland

Postby SuperLander » Sun Sep 02, 2018 2:05 pm

Isn’t it the case that the only way the whole of Somalia can, with peace and development, be governed effectively by one single authority is for their to be a ruling collective made up of different people rather than a single head of government. The UAE, Switzerland and San Marino are the only countries in the world that have multiple rulers at the same time. Coincidentally the UAE and Switzerland are federalist nations.

Plus please make a different city the capital of Somalia

UAE is a sheikhdom that operates as a federal royalty

Basically all of these sheikhs had a separate protection treaties with britain along side with Oman and Eden but as Britain was so broke after WW2 and was borrowing money from the USA wich was behind the end of the British Empire and replaced it in the Persian Gulf so before that the british had decided to withdraw from the arabian peninsula for economical reasons and the sheikhs were against this but finally they made some deals with Aramco and the US who was based then in Saudi Arabia

But prior to their withdrawal from there the british have suggested a union between aden, oman, the current UAE principalities and Qatar and bahrain as a confederation between the South-Eastern Arabian Sheikhdoms basically all the land under their protection.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trucial_States

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trucial_Oman_Scouts

But only the ones now known as UAE have united with the signing of a constitution that would bind them together. Before that Dubai had more history with qatar than the Abu dhubai.

"Britain's aim, Healey continued, was "to produce a situation in which the local powers can reach agreement on a framework of stability for themselves without the presence of external forces. When we are satisfied that aim [has been] achieved, we shall certainly leave"

.
So these sheikhdoms are now protected by the western Petroleum Companies and are not like Somalia where no Economal interests.

Britain arrangements in the South and Eastern Arabia looks similar to their role in the unity between the North and South Somalia as the Somaliland State was waiting to united with the South based on the british arrangements, infact the british wanted to unite the whole 5 somalis except djibouti if the south accepts to be under their trusteeship instead of italy. Nevertheless i think SYL made good decision to kick out the british from koonfur bc they were allied with Ethiopia while italey has added to Somalia parts of zanzibar like kismayo and the bajuni islands claiming that they were banaadiri stock.

swiss is also irrelevant to Somalia bc its federalism is based on languages.

Tanzania and zanzibar model suits Somalia.

Besides being kept together and protected by the Western Petroleum interests, The UAE current rulers are all first cousins, second cousins and third cousins because they have been inter-marrying since then specially abu dhabi and dubai

"حكام الإمارات تربطهم صلات قربى؛ فهم أبناء عمومة وخؤولة"

The reason ala saud only marry from themselves is to avoid the other clans using this influence and to unite the tribe against them.

In Suudi arabia and Kuwait tgere r black princes bc they enter marry with their maids to avoid the other clans

The black princes like bender bin sultan can be ambassadors and army generals but they cant rule. Kuait had dark crown minister who become the prince of kuwit anf go removed for his back origin after weeks.
So the tribe blood in arabia is very thick not like the somali way who depends on one side.

Let us say mussa biixi mother was gadabursi and his grandmother was dhulbahante, both of th will have huge influence in the Govt.

In somalia the subclan of the first lady has all the influence while her maternal clan from hiiraan has nothing to do with this Govt.

The other clan is the presidents clan..

Arab officials are from all the inlaws of all sides.

Sahal, as the maamul leaders are meeting in a summit in kismayo, they look and act like the rulers of sovereign countries and make the SFG a toothless paper authority.

I would propose that therefore you guys have 5 presidents instead of 1 and each maamul head is one of the 5 presidents of Somalia at the same time as being their maamul’s ruler

This is the UAE model that may be the best solution for dalkaaga since gaas, waare etc are the true power of Somalia not the so called federal authorities
