Habesha are not mixed with Arabs or Jews. They never even claim it. Why are you making stuff up? Language has nothing to do with someone's lineage. Iranians speak Indo-European but a lot of them have Arab DNA and even if they dont they're still closely related and have the same DNA.They are all cushites closely related to the Oromo, Rendille, Canfar, etc, Habasha are a Semitic People they have Arab & Jewish blood, We have DNA in this era there is no Somali with Arab blood, except for a minority of people.
You make a lot of sense. Somalis didn't have knowledge about Islam like we do now.Arab lineage doesn’t exist it’s just an old way of saying we are Muslims.
Back in the early days ethicity, ancestry and nationality were pretty unknown or very different from today’s understanding.
When our forefathers pledged their allegiance with Arabia, it was simply the way to say we are Muslims in those days.
Even in middle ages the term Muslims was little known and you were either Mohamoddins, Arabs or something along those lines.
It’s the same with the term Amhara. Any Christian even if Oromo was simply Amhara or in our case amxaar.
So Somalis misunderstood.
We are no Arabs it was simply religious allegiance.
We are no different than Oromo, Afar and the rest of the Horn people.
That's fake because these genealogist have some sort of anti-African bias and aren't open to the idea that we have a lot of diversity in Africa. For example a South Sudanese looks different from a Kenyan or Tanzanian both are listed as East Africa Bantu. There's only 3 types of African DNA according to them East African Bantu, West African and Hunter Gatherer. But Europeans have many.... even Ashkenazi Jews have their own DNA. How can that be? You gotta ask questions and not just be a dhaadhaan who accepts everything fed to him. How can Italians and Spaniards not be mixed if they have a history of mixing with Arabs some even look full Arab. Something doesn't add up.I saw their DNA results some had 45-50% Arab in them, Plus they where ruled from Yemen at the time of Sheba, and they were also in Yemen and even attacked as far as Mecca. So It’s possible there was a lot of mixture.
The only main Somali tribe I know of that claims Arab lineage is the Darood. Somalis are a separate ppl, we're not related to Oromos, well at least not recently. They became Muslim through the Conquest of Abyssinia which involved Somalis. Also, Somalis became Muslim before most 'Arab' lands. Arabs arent an ethnicity, so DNA means nothing to prove Arabness. Most Arabs today were Arabized by the Spread of Islam.Arab lineage doesn’t exist it’s just an old way of saying we are Muslims.

You need to be slapped for making up lies like that. There's no Isaaq Ridawi in Arab history books he's a fictional character made up by Somalis. What I know is we Isaaq are descendant of sheikh isxaaq ibn axmed al ridawi. Who was from asmara ciraaq. Does that make us Arabs today perhaps not we are somalisized culturally socially . And mixed with other Somali groups.
Somalis are not Arabs. I mean who would be proud of believing his great great grandma was a Bantu jungle women and got raped by some dirty Arab slave trader. Lol.The only way to settle this Arab lineage confusion is for Dir to become their own Ethnic group, they are Samaale not Somalis, they inhabit all five territories, they intermarry with other ethnic groups, they speak many non-Somali languages, they have more indigenous cultures and many don't identify with Somalis so they should separate and become their own ethnic group and seek UN recognition for it. People who want to claim African ancestry can join the Dir ethnic group and those who want to claim Arab ancestry can join the Somali ethnic group. Simple as that, everyone will be happy, no more Dir iyo Darood bs with people claiming Arab ancestry hiding in both sides.
Somalis will claim Arab ancestry as long as Arabs exist on the planet and you will not convince people with dna, even dna corporations say Somalis are Arabs because Somalis claim them. In my opinion the best is to separate those who claim it and those who don't, so you will have the ethnic group called Somalis who claim Arab ancestry and the Dir ethnic group because the name Samaale might be confusing, it's just my 2 cents.Somalis are not Arabs.
