The Port deal and the military base were different agreements reached with DPWorld and the UAE/Dubai government respectively.

Port Deal:

According to this statement the first phase of the port development is overdue more than a year, since DPWorld took control in 2016.

"First phase of a 400 metre quay and 250,000 square metre yard extension, and gantry cranes and reach stackers to handle containers and cargo. Construction of the quay extension is expected to start 12 months after the satisfaction of the terms and conditions of the agreement and will take 24 months to complete."

Also according to Bashe Omar, head of the Somaliland trade office in Dubai.

"The first [phase] will involve $230m, with $62m for the development of the old Berbera port, renewing and reinforcing its infrastructure and $170m for the development of a new container terminal."

The agreement was reached on the 09/09/2016 and the 'the terms and conditions of the agreement was satisfied' -

So by now there should have been $230 million invested in the development of the port and the first phase should have been near completion.

I don't see any development even close that agreed upon.

In fact, since taking control DPW has changed the administration and organisation of the port and brought over few equipment, fork lifts etc. While sending any profits made back to the UAE.

Military Base:

There seems some development in front as the satellite images show. How does this benefit the people of Somaliland? as far as i am aware of, it was leased for meager $1 million a year.

What happened to the Berbera Corridor that was meant to be developed in exchange for the base?

........................................

Its plain and simple the sand niggers have dished a plethora of false promises at you just to secure the military base. You've been fooled!

Dhulo boy,

We will show you once we start construction as per usual. You guys said military won't happen, we shut you guys up. You guys said DP will never sign anything, it happened. You guys said Farmajo will terminate, instead he got terminated.

I mean when do you guys ever realise you're on the losing side of things?

And construction will begin. Maybe that's the old memo but the one I saw said it's three phases.

Everything within the boarder of the Federal Republic of Somalia concerns me sxb, from Kisamyo to Zeila.

And no need to get sensitive mate, am just pointing out that maybe the real reason the sand niggers approached you was to build a military base not a port. After all your a easy target to exploit since your so desperate for recognition.

federal republic of somalia , never existed and never exist . It don't matter how much the Daarood minorities in somaliland parrot this mythical republic , historically it did not exist. What existed was THE SOMALI REPUBLIC not Somalia republic, learn the difference qurjiile boy.

He/she will disappear for a while and emerge like a rat from the dark in another envious comment. This is their culture.

Sad cunts wallee, whenever their lies are busted they crawl back to their holes and lay low for a few weeks/months before remerging with the same ciil-driven delusions. This particular qurjiile ciil xad dhaaf ah baa haya.

Did he not promise he would go back to Somaliland and join the "jihad of liberation" against Isaaq, why is he still here?
