A sub clan of Ree Isaaq called Ree Jiisow had 14K men according to some elders who collect qaraan ...The shaykh who did that told us that they were around ten men who hailed from the numerous sub branches of Ree Jiisow ..it took them a whole night to gather and write down the male population of their clan and that was carried out in 1994.besides ,they didn't include the female population which I believe wasnt less than that of their male population ...

If Ree Jiisow alone was around 30K in 1994 what estimate can be give them in 2018 ! .I got this info from a trustworthy elder .Though a laandhere branch , Jiisow is one of the numerous branches of Ree Cali .they oftentimes compared to Ree Sugulle though many say Jiisow outnumber them .


Ogaden in Kenya alone is expected exceed a million in the upcoming cencus of 2019 !..Again, Out of the 5 or 6M Somalis of of Ethiopia around 35 to 45% is Ogaden and Absame is roughly half of the population .
