Re: Puntland’s Parliament faces the reality of its insignificance to Somaliland
These videos show the strength of Berbera - No wonder the Faqash and their Hutu minions have attempted to sabotage this port and its trade since the 1960s.
- The port expansion has started - Satellite images from June 2019 confirm this, it's a fact on the ground
- The military base is nearly finished
- The airport is finished
- The fockers in Mogadishu attempted to steal the livestock trade from right under our nose - Can you imagine the audacity of some
corrupt Gudhuu-speaking Jujuwiye/Faqash giving out licenses to our livestock traders
. Praise God they failed. The Saudis way ka noqdeen arinttii
- The Saudis now need to re-open the trade fully like the way it was between 2009 and 2016 when we were exporting 3.5 to 5 million animals per annum.
- We also need to look for new markets and exporting meat rather than animals so that we are not over reliant on them
- It is great news the Emiratis are only exporting from Berbera, I hope the Saudis do the same, thereby cementing our control (Which we've always had).
The funny thing is Cadaani - Our trade with Puntiland is miniscule to us - But massive to them.
The trade with the Western Clans and the Eastern Oromo DWARFS the trade with Puntiland - This explains the importance of Wajaale.
This makes sense - Millions to the west of us - 400-500 thousand in Puntiland. Our traders won't even feel it. They can tariff our goods to their hearts content

What an insightful read, cheers Cadaani!
That dhabayaco calaacal though
"Inaynu dadka gobta ah baanu naha nidhaahno baa khalad ah"...
"Inaynu dawlad sheegano baa khalad ah"
Berbera was always the giant that was always waiting for that small push to reclaim its historic place on the mouth of the Red Sea.
The fact that they are panicking this publicly and suffering loss of customers, their very own dhabyaco businessmen no less, is but a small taster of whats to come. With increased efficiencies, even better management, the sheer size of business happening in Berbera, Bosaso just wont be able to keep up.
Basically whatever you can get in Bosaso, yo will be able to import for 1/2 the price from Berbera, this is by their own admission, a couple of their MPs are explicitly stating that.
The shocker though are these two points:
1- That Somaliland will construct a dry port outside of Garowe for Berbera goods to be stored before exporting to dhabayaco. This is huge, not only for us, but the qurjiile will also eat good of the dhabayaco.
2- Luring in the biggest dhabayaco importers away from Bosaso and to Berbera by offering tax exemption is just brilliant. And when you add in the addition of trackers to goods exported to dhabayco to ensure they are not sold in our local markets....

This is excellent stuff some real east Indian company shit. I can't help but imagine where we would be if we didn't give up our dowladnimo. We would be like dubai. This is the definition of idoor.

If you personalize losses, you can't trade. The dhabayacos can be good at politics but Never in business. It's all about demand , supply and profit. If foox is cheaper In boosaso than ceerigaabo I will go to boosaso. I don't care if the seller is MJ yamyam or qadaadweyn.

Boosaso port in huge decline.
Berbera port doing better than both Mogadishu and boosaso ports combined.
