Kenya steps up its attack against Somalis (diplomatic war against Somalia)

Postby Futurist » Wed Aug 21, 2019 6:09 pm

Kenya has a multi pronged plan of attack against Somalia

https://www.theeastafrican.co.ke/news/e ... index.html

Kenya is planning for a seat at the UN security council

It plans to then get a binding resolution from the UN security council telling Somalia and Kenya to reach a settlement outside the International Court of Justice

This is because the UN Security Council can issue binding mandates and ranks higher than the Court of Justice in International Law

Kenya will then not be bound by the judgement of the Internal Court of Justice!

Looks like Somalia has been outsmarted, outplayed and outfoxed by the Kenyan government (with Ethiopian help in Addis Ababa) :lupe:

The Somali government needs to get the Arab League, Organisation of Islamic countries to vote against Kenya at the UN so that it does not get a seat at the UN security council

But the useless foreign ministry is too focussed on sabotaging and interfering with Somaliland

When their ABSOLUTE priority should be Kenya's plan to take the coastline and isolate Somalia diplomatically

In this article the foreign ministry lays out what they plan to do

https://www.thecitizen.co.tz/news/18403 ... index.html

Get the non permanent seat the UN security council, and I quote from their article from the Kenyan foreign minister

"The UN Security Council is the only UN body with the authority to issue binding resolutions on member states. All member states are obliged to comply with its decisions. Kenya hopes that its membership... will help with conflict resolution in the event of a falling out after the International Court of Justice verdict".
