Should The Minister of Youth and Sports Khadija M. Dirie step down for abusing her power and discrimination?

Postby IRONm@N » Mon Dec 02, 2019 8:10 pm

First of all having an old woman as the minister of Sports and Youth is a disservice. She probably never played sports and she doesn’t know much about youth,
Second she deliberately discriminated a Abdi dhaanto thinking he is Ogaden and told him to take his dhaanto to Jigjiga and she didn’t apologize
Worse she ordered the Police chief to arrest him after he blasted her on YouTube which is incompetence and abuse of power

Lastly she shouldn’t be involved in a day today of the National Theater and who sings and what. That is the job of the National theater manager not the Minister of Youth and Sports and should focus on major issues effecting our youth and lack of sports infrastructure and organizations and how she can take Somalia to the African Cup and in the World Cup.

So with her discrimination and abuse of power is time for her to resign if she isn’t going to apologize to abdi dhaanto and ppl of Ogaden in general or the prime minister to sack her of her duties. She is probably more appropriate as the minister of women. I suggest they put a young man who is passionate about sports as the minister of Sports, someone as sports icon like Abdi Bille or someone like Mo Farah

Firstly She shouldnt apologise
Why, because what she did was completely wrong
Actions which deserve a apology
But the way he went about it , made him lose that right.
He needs to be punisher
She needs to go

I think the comments were made heat of the moment as the situation was in a muddle and the concerned gentleman was over emotional , the comments were definitely misplaced and unapprpriate and that people in higher position should be responsible what they say and do

Affirmirtive action or equality and empowerment doesnt mean that she should abuse her powers.

She is an old cajusa she has seen how qabyalad has ruined the country.Somalia is still recovering from years of civil war.

The lad has every right to come forward and expose to the public what this wreched woman did.

She should apologise and step down and let another competent young .5 person be in charge who has no qabyalad.

This is not snet.No one here works directly for N&N but are only supporters so they can engage in qabyalad or whatever they want because they dont hold any office of athority.

The moment you hold autgority then your words should be measured.

This cajusa cantatabtey only makes N&N look veyr bad especially to the youth because in Somalia the majority of the population are youth and have been neglected.
Its these same youth that haveneen dying in high seas and been in horrible places just to look for a better life.

what has she actually done? all we have heard is his side of the story. how can you form a judgement when her side is not even heard.

she is a minister of somalia, the lad is from Ethiopia, ask yourself this question would he have ever talked the way he talked if this was in Ethiopia?

so what gives him the right to openly disrespect a somali official like that? he should learn respect. i would jail him for 6 months.

Saxib selectively choosing someone and tarhetting him thinking he is ogaden is the ceime.

If she knew he was Hawiye she would allow him in the podium even if he came from Jigjiga.

Tarzan who came from Ethiopia was the mayor of Xamar.
MSB was born in Ethiopia.
