Sxb its just the truth, i can't sugar coat what is reality. MX mostly left for the south that's why you find yourself in the position as a drop in the ocean in galmudug.Nomand wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 6:09 am STARKAST,
i don't agree that MX is a minority in galmudug or a drop in the ocean.
MX is a stabilizing force in galmudug and without MX, galmudug would be very difficult to sustain. think about it.
with MX gone the first fight would be who is the VP is it DIR? or mursade? or abgaal? second fight would be between HG subclans now that MX is gone there is no force that can capitalize on internal HG conflict. each HG subclan would act like a clan and fight for the presidency. next would be the capital again this will fought for hard.
cayr will fight hard for the presidency since they are the largest HG subclan, the capital city is dhusamareeb and ceyr town. again will sacad and salebaan allow ceyr to have both presidency and capital city? if farmaajo looses do you think the next president would send haramcad to dhusamareeb? with an MJ Prime minister i don't think so.
if you remember before farmaajo, when xaaf was president of galmudug, salebaan put a isbaaro on cadaado. and if xaaf wanted to go to dhusamareeb first he had to get permission from sheikh shaakir then he had to fly from gaalkacyo to dhusamareeb. if farmaajo looses same thing will return.
That map that kees posted is correct.
MX have their representation in Galmudug as simply to make it look like an inclusive state and to politically rule the two towns that mx live in.
Regarding your statements about skirmishes at the end of the day, it is HG vs HG violence which is intra violence which happens with all clans. Normal.

As for your the answer you seek, i'll summarize it by saying that its an Intra-HG affair that doesnt concern you MX, we HG are now under 1 maamul and 1 leader and thats all it matters.
but HG being under one leader. who do you think made that?

As The stakeholder of Galmudug - how do you feel that mx claim that they have more of a stake in regards to their representation i.e the two towns or 2 town clan. This is very problematic. Its like reer xamar claiming Muqdisho .Kees70 wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:44 amim gonna reply to you later in full details, in the mean time dwell on this reality that mx are insignificant drop of water in the ocean of HG;Nomand wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:37 am Kees,
why would MX move? lol that does not even make any sense. Galmudug is choice and MX can simple choose to not partake in it if they want.
but everything i have said about HG in galmudug is what your former president xaaf said multiple times.
do you deny that xaaf could not enter cadaado? and salebaan put an isbaaro
do you deny that xaaf when entering dhusamareeb had to ask sheikh shakir for permission and that xaaf's orders on anything regarding salebaan or cayr territories where disregarded.
kismaayo, gedo, caabudwaaq are all MX degaan. politics come and go but deegaan stays the same.

It is appealing to size without any context which becomes an irony when virtually every single barometer or measurement represents the opposite.
Population Settlement

Population Density

Least vs Most Urban

Market Access vs Remote

And finally the Clan settlement has not changed substantively since the Galti Migration as drawn by Robecchi.

The truth is Central Somalia is a wasteland and the Marehan that had not migrated had occupied the eastern entrance into the Hawd with a well clear boundary line.
1991 and civil war caused temporary fluctuations in involuntary population movements as happened to many groups particularly Marehan, but as the rer Hassan expelled from Nageyle in 1992 today own the deed to Deka Suftu so too Marehan has closed the breach of the highway with Wagardhac's Kaxandhaale district administration.
Everything else including such sporadic moments like this are unfortunate individual circumstances akin to statistical white noise.
There is a very clear trajectory in Central Somalia.
The only places capable of sustainable growth is the far Western boundary zone.
Everything else is in decline including population. For example, while Balanbale and Dhabat are growing, Dhusamareb is actually hemorrhaging population with over 60% of its young migrating to Benadir.
With that said, I am on record for saying Marehan, nay even Darod as a whole in central Somalia should reach a generational agreement based on courage, brotherhood, and reflection of common destiny with the Hawiye that reframes and reinterprets how land ownership is viewed and access to grazing is equitably shared.
The young HG or Hawiye or non-Darod nomad has to access grazing and Darod have occupied it like the Berlin Wall.
This will continue to result in moments such as this, but even more importantly, it is virtually impossible to live in the majority of central Somalia as it is as a pastoralist and this will continue to degrade not get better for the foreseeable future.
Every Somali kid deserves better than the current.
Re: Inalilaahi two MX shot dead by Galmudug Darawiish near Kaxandhaale
Galmudug is an state that has come from a long process which was started in 2006 by Reer Sacad and from this process along the way many individuals like President HSM and President Farmaajo played their part and contributed greatly to the Galmudug that is today, so having said that i also admit that Farmaajo played a special part in building an inclusive Galmudug, as he an MX President has blessed GM with MXs full participation, now Mx in that area is forever intertwined with HGs under Galmudug.Nomand wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 10:52 ammy last contribution. first it is good to debate with someone who at least acknowledges facts even if you want to hush it up as intra-HG affair i will respect that and leave it as that.Kees70 wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 10:07 amXaaf is a big mouth baboon that slepts around with the mjs politically, him out of the picture is good for all of us.Nomand wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:48 am kees,

MX is Galmudug just as i Sacad am a Galmudug, a state is bigger than individuals and clans, its the Islamic Laws and Constitution that holds us different from the animals in the wild.

As for Deegaans, who cares who owns what or settles, from now on Deegaan Council of GM everywhere will be mixed, you will see MX have Reps in Hobyo just as we HG are having reps in Cabudwaaq albeit 1 is short than we excpted as we were gunning for atleats 7-5 Reps in that council anyway talks are ongoing and i hope for the best for us all.
GM is heading to an Mixed State where no Deegaans will have clan borders, so one better get used to that Future or move outside Galmudug, because we reer GM will never except their way of isolationist thinking

Re: Inalilaahi two MX shot dead by Galmudug Darawiish near Kaxandhaale
Kees, this you is the one that should be you 100% of the time. The foundation that Farmaajo and Qoorqoor's relationship set is a generational shift. I don't think many people appreciate it but I am a lover of history and I am able to detect nuances capable of informing a lpng term message. The emergence of PM Rooble has even strengthened what Qoorqoor and Farmaajo started.
Galmudug has a difficult teenage growth a head of it and it will be growing pains precisely for the reasons I highlighted but if you love your people and want them to succeed, you should refrain from the type of negative influence that informed your nitial participation.
The Central Somalia problem is only seen from D vs H, clans but there is an entire iceberg under the surface with descending challenges... Grazing, livelihood, security, equity, and even climate change.
The one Marehan you negatively impact iis llone less partner you need willing to work with you.
As a point of context, I am no longer at not trying to offend the other, I am now at the formidable stage where I challenge my own with such a radical concept I highlighted where almost always the first reply I get is "kan waa doqon"

Re: Inalilaahi two MX shot dead by Galmudug Darawiish near Kaxandhaale
This is the biggest bullshit I have ever layed my eyes upon, if MX get killed in Kaxandhaale you think Wasiirka Amniga Fiqi will assist us? He is actively plotting with OG to systematically eliminate MX from the Ethio Somalia border and sandwich us. Until GM becomes neutral in clan conflicts and not biased towards certain clans it shall continue to fail. Even the Dir Qubays have been pushed to join AS due to GM clannism in Bacaadweyn.Kees70 wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 12:54 pmHaving MX claim Galmudug is a surplus for us HG, having them under Galmudug was a strategic move that has helped us penetrate Ethiopia Somali Galbeed deeper, we now have more connection than 1 with Somali Galbeed that might help us foster deeper relations security, economic and political wise.STARKAST wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 10:57 amAs The stakeholder of Galmudug - how do you feel that mx claim that they have more of a stake in regards to their representation i.e the two towns or 2 town clan.
