He shot from behind, from the left and from the right. in and out. he took three point, he dunked, he take two pointer, freethrows--he did anything to shut down Toronto Raptor and may be possible early elimination from the NBA 06 Season. The Toronto Raptor are being evaluated for some psychological damage-and there feared that will never be same after Sunday nights game again. Finally the game ended at 122-104 -with a relieve the raptors fled the scene may be Kevin Garnet will take an 81 point tonight to scare Detriot
kobe took 46 shots and had just 2 assists...did he somehow 4got that there are 4 other guys wearing the same laker jersey on the court with him? no wonder shaq dislikes him. he's a ball hogging son of a b!tch. the raptors are one of the worst teams in the NBA, their Defense is ranked probably second to last, they allow tripple digit numbers all the time, so any all star in the league can score a career high playing them. it's a shame that phill jackson would allow such a thing, he should have benched kobe the minute he hit 50 points. kobe is a focking cry baby, a one man team and does not deserve any hype...81 points and the lakers are still under .500
WTF are you on about. The raptors were up by 18 points in the third and kobe shot 60%. Are you going to pass it to lamar "I break down " odom. Or kwame"I have small hands"brown.
you know what i think, there's a conspiracy going on in the NBA. the raptors didn't even play defense, it's all most like they were paid a little extra to go easy on kobe. he shot 22 free throws, shot 7 of 13 from 3pt. was the NBA trying to steal the spotlight from the NFL? are they trying to win fans back? i believe this is a publicity stunt by the league, call me crazy but you know it's possible.
no no ..Carter already made a statement, saying kobe's 81 "is bad for the NBA" and that it "sends the wrong message to kids". did you not see sportcenter?
Somali's and their conspiracy theories. The raptors doubled/tripled teamed kobe and he just shit on us. Mo pete is one of the better two guards on the defensive end. If anything it was just kobe shooting lights out on my craptors. 28-46 is unheard of.
If anything it was kobe who tried to steal the spotlight off of championship sunday. His teamates were looking for kobe on all possesions because they suck and he didn't want to lose to CB4 and company.

After what he did to the Raptors and those poor Canadian fans, Carter will be the last person talking about what is good for the league and moral issue. They should sue his asz walaahi for destroying that franchise…. (I love his game though)
Speaking of Kobe, it’s obvious the guy has deep self steam issues but scoring 81 points isn’t a joke. I don’t care who is guarding him. Taking 46 shots is hard enough. In the NBA
This is some of the reaction from Raptors players after 24hrs from the game.
"We're not talking about just anybody,'' Jalen Rose said Monday night before the Raptors played the Denver Nuggets. "We're talking about Kobe. He's had 40, 50, 60 and 80 this year. So it's not the first time he's gone off on a team.''
Still, Aaron Williams said he'll never forget Bryant's performance, the second-highest single-game total in NBA history.
"We feel it,'' he said. "You always remember those kinds of nights.''
Rose is hoping people will forget it was the Raptors who were on the wrong side of history, however.
"Don't get me wrong, it's nothing to celebrate, it's nothing you want to be on the butt end of the jokes about,'' Rose said. "But it's kind of like losing the Super Bowl or the championship. In 30, 40 years, when somebody breaks his record, you know, nobody's going to remember who it was against.'' Mike James declared he would only answer questions about the Nuggets.
"Last night is over,'' he said with a smile.
Raptors coach Sam Mitchell concurred, but with a scowl.
"Are you asking me about tonight's game or yesterday's game?'' he snapped.
About Kobe's 81, second only to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point feat nearly 44 years ago.
"Talked about it early in the day and put it behind us,'' Mitchell said. "We talked about it. Some of the guys wanted to see it, so we watched it and put it behind us.''
Rose was still astonished 24 hours after the historic game. He said he spent a sleepless night watching it over and over on TV, then again on "Good Morning America.''
"When you're contesting those jumpers, yeah, it's tough to watch,'' Rose said. "But you know, it happened and you've got to deal with it. When you play ball, when you play sports, your failures go with success. You've got to be able to endure both.''
The Raptors' pride was bruised by Bryant's big game, but "you've got to challenge your anger,'' Rose said. "The anger would be go flagrant-foul him, go hurt him, go try to break his armYeah, I thought about it. But that would be ... a bad sport and a hater. (We had to) suck it up and take it like men.''
My point is u need to pay your cable bills, so u don't miss the games--u got three months free -but that is only January, Feb and March --by the time the playoffs start your cable is disconnected.
