Would you GRANT SOMALILAND their INDEPENDENCE?
this issue is a controversy-- the truth is that the majority of people who live in the north believe that they have the right to be independent of SOmalia== the majority of people who live in the South believe that Somaliland will always be part of Somalia, strongly they want to get Ogaden, NFD and Djabuti back to Somalia, so you cannot tell these people to grant Somaliland their independence!!!!
I met an african guy the other day and he talked about Somaliland!!.. he was saying its great that somaliland would stand on their own and become a country.. he says, why would you have one country while you can have two?... I was furious, I was like, how could you!! and than I realized that I was a neoconservative in its worst!!.. I came back to my sense and saw things from Somalilands prespective... I still cannot see why they want to breakaway.. its still bugging me!!!.... would you let them breakaway? and why?

No I won't grant them becuz there is something called the Balkanization of somalia --that is dividing somalia into as many pieces as possible -so it will be easy for our enemies to control us --and this fools have fallen to the trap and the scheme and don't want to be somali any more.
This idea of destroying somalia into pieces was first introduced by the british about 1880s and 1900s. three attempts to reunite the whole somalia were prevent by the british and America --first was the attempt of ahmed gurey --then the attempt of Sayid mohamed --and lastly that of Said Bare's five star --all have been followed by foriegn intervention.
so nobody is gonna give indepedence to somaliland.

I agree... I dont know about Siyaads attempt but I concure with other attempts... Siyaads was a politcal move.. he's never cared about the people... its pure politics....
so you aint liberal about this issue?... would you even consider granting Somaliland their independence?... would you sit on a table with them to discuss the issue.. or its undiscussable for you,,,,

War Homeroow, I was joking saaxib. I do not care who breaks away wale. It does not really concern me much. As long as there is a peaceful place in the former Somalia where I can live peacefully then I am fine with it. In the mean time, I will be chilling in America and vacationing in the Maldives, swimming with the sharks.

Kulankii Baarlamaanka ee Maanta oo uu Ra'iisul wasaare Geeddi ka hor aqriyay Warqad qoraal ah oo ka timid Ethiopia
Posted to the Web May 01, 15:56
Baydhabo (PP) - Kulankii maanta ee baarlamaanka Federaalka Soomaaliya oo ahaa mid looga codsaday ra’iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya Prof. Geeddi inuu ka jawaabo ergaygii ay dowladda Ethiopia u dirtay Somaliland ayaa wuxuu ka hor aqriyay Xildhibaannada warqad ka timid Ethiopia.
Warqaddaan ayuu Ra’iisul Wasaaraha Soomaaliya Prof. Cali Maxamed Geeddi wuxuu sheegay inay ka timid Safaaradda Somalia ay ku leedahay Ethiopia, waxaana uu sheegay inay tahay mid ka soo baxday Dowladda Ethiopia loona soo marsiiyay Safaaradda Soomaaliya.
Xubnaha Baarlamaanka ayaa intooda badan waxay maantka soo qaybgaleen kulankaan, iyadoo xubnaha ay goor hore yimaadeen goobta kulanka baarlamaanku uu ka dhaco ee ADC-da baydhabo, mana uusan jirin xildhibaan ka baaqday kulankaas, waxaana si weyn ay u sugayeen xubnaha baarlamaanka hadalka uu jeedin doono Ra’iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya Prof. Geeddi.
Ra’iisul wasaaruhu wuxuu sheegay in qoraalkaas ka soo baxay dowladda Ethiopia ay ku caddeysay inaysan jirin wax safiir ah oo ay dowladda Ethiopia u dirsatay Somaliland, waxaana qoraalkaas ku xusnaa in Dowladda Ethiopia ay Soomaaliya u aragto mid aan kala go’i Karin iyaduna aysan kala goynayn, balse midnimadeeda ay ilaalinayso.
Sidoo kale Ra’iisul wasaaruhu wuxuu ka aqriyay qoraalkaas in dowladda Ethiopia ay taageersan tahay Soomaaliya aysanna doonayn inay kala jarto, waxaana uu sheegay inay tahay ujeeddo caddeynaysa inaysan Ethiopia doonayn inay baajiso saaxiibtiniada cusub ee Soomaaliya kala dhexeysa.
Xildhibaannada qaarkood ayaa ku tilmaamay hadalkaan uu aqriyay Ra’iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya maanta inuu yahay mid aan sax ahayn, waxayna sheegeen in Ethiopia aysan daacad ka ahayn wax ay sheegayso.
Dhanka Kale, waxaa jiray in xildhibaannada qaarkood ay aad ugu sacab-tumeen markii uu Ra’iisul wasaare Geeddi dhameystiray aqrinta warqaddaas.

Apparently, you have mistaken us for the Ma-jareer-teenka. We were never Mareexaan subordinates. You don't try to destroy your subordinates because you keep them on a short leash.
Isaaqland will never ever be under the rule of faqash or mooryaans again..EVER!
Ok, seriously, this is all the Isaaq patriotism i could mustard under the circumstances. Say more shit so i can see if i can be more isaaq.

well.... the issue is a breaking away republic and not this tribe or that tribe... so chill Lionheart!!!... women always take things the wrong way!!!... the question is why would you grant somaliland their independence?... gimme some constructive argument... Not hawiye this daarood this.. that isnot a good argument!!!!...
personally I have a mixed emotions as all the other somalis!!! Somaliland is part of Somalia but I think that it should be a joint decision if they want to breakaway and not only theirs..... for instance, you live with your brother in a room, can you spontanously divide the room with a wall without discussing with the brother that shares the room with you?.. no you cannot.... Somaliland have decided to breakaway without discussing with Somalia.. they took advantage of the civil war and I blame them for that!!!.. I have a very good feeling that if Somaliland have waited and worked on Somali peace, they would have got their independence granted!!!... does anyone see my point?

Surely you don't believe that. If you do then you are more naive than i thought.
We call it Somaliland so that the minority tribes (inferior Dhulos, warsangeli and ghetto-biirsi) won't try to break away as well and demand their own land. Though they'd be crushed if they tried, we don't want to look like an opressive and intolerant regime. But every1 knows:
Somaliland=Isaaqland.

"you wont be breaking away with a mentality like that walaahi.... "
NEWSFLASH: WE ALREADY HAVE!
Just awaiting world recognition which should come in the next year or so.
"if Guhudbiirse and Warsangeli cannot breakaway, what gives the right to breakaway"
Simple: There are more of us than they are of them. We are the majority in Somaliland aka Isaaqland. Use your brain for once. God!

and yes you aint recognized yet.. its been over 15 years nothing has come and nothing is gonna come.. your key to recognization is a Somali Central Government to give you its blessing and I really really anticipate a huge fight in the SOmali parliament discussing your breakaway!!!.. trust me this can lead to another civil war!!!!.. its a major issue
