Have you ever had Squid?

I wonder why ppl even bother to make a dish of this sea animal? I tried once and I ain't gonna try again, ever in my life. Tastewise, it's plain, nutritionwise, nothing, as a delicacy, absolutely not. It's like chewing a piece of rubber and you keep on chewing until your jaw just talks to you and says, I am tired, then you either swallow it wholly or spit it out.

I know Qur'an tells us that everything in the sea is Halal, but Halal or not, this ain't something for me.

I used to hate the thing just several yrs ago... but I am a big sea food eater now, from shrimp, regular fish, to calamari... war wax iga fakada ma jiro...kuwa cleesha u eg xataan waan dejiyaa....and beleieve me it tastes good once you are used to it.

One time we went couple of my abgaal friends and I went to the Cheesecake Factory (that's a restaurant not an actual cheesecake factory). One of them ( i think it was Muudoow) thought Calamari sounded delicious and ordered. I was trying soooooooooooooo hard NOT to laugh because i knew what it was. He ate it and didn't like it so i offered him some of my fries..When the waitress came by to ask if we needed anything, i asked her "exactly, what is calamari?" She said "oh, it's squid."...He asked me what squid meant. I told him it was Octupus....Seeing him to the bathroom to puke was one of the funniest things ever..

Why would u eat a squid in the first place, I was watching this discovery channel program where ppl were discussing ethnical foods around the world and I came across this particular people from China or was it Japan couldn't distinguish them apart, However as I was watching, they served a Squid dish to this African American fella, and literally vomited, as you try to consume it, it's tentacles hooks on to ppl's throats, Sir-lug, I suggest u lay off dish’s like that, Not only are they slithery but deadly, There are high percentage of deaths caused by Squids, where they choke their victims as they swallow to consume it. For all u know that could be your last meal. Sticks to you’re bariis iyo basto saxib.
