Samatr.
Nah, an athiest who places passion in any concept or theory becomes a believer and thus creates a religion. We acknowledge the validity and acknowlegde a concept but never do we say that it is truth, everything is just one possibility of many other possibilites. The big bang theory is just another possibility different from the intelligent design guess.

Samtr,
But is that not the apparent reality of the world? Do you not live life knowing that tomorrow could be unpredictable. YOu could walk out of your room and get hit by a car..."a moment can change your whole life"..the world is unpredictable..uncertainity is everywhere, so why not admit to it?
Touheed,
What is feminism? a self acknowledgement that we exist as individuals and not objects or posessions. then i will say I have reached feminism and moved on.

^^There is even a limit to uncertainty/unpredictable situations, there are times where somethings are undpredictable but that's just life. We can't say everything is uncertain, if I put my hand on a hot stove it will burn. A better question is "is there a line that separates the predictable and unpredictable situations in life."

This question I asked my father as a child. He used to tell us all the stories of the Ambeya and rosol. I asked how Adam's sons could marry their sisters? The answer I got was: We wouldn't be here if they did not....
I will back with more serious comment.
Was it necessary for God to do so?
Couldn't He create two families whose children get married without incest?

SomLight,
How are the Big Bang and Evolution theories comparable to creationist theories? Help me out here my science confrere but didn't these science theories EARN their status through show and tell? How many ppl lost their lifes, liberty or livelihood resultant of their denial to accept Big Bang and Evolution theories?
Are you on a charm offensive or somethin'?
Mamma Mia!
Smartr,
Much of Islamic rituals hark back to pre-islamic pagan practices. FOr example, almost the entire Haj rituals are borrowed from pagan arabs. Stoning the Jin, circumambulation of the Kabah (a pagan remnant), abolution for prayers, praying several times a day etc.

I know this is an off topic response to an off topic question...but I just want to clarify, what some people don't seem to understand is that we cannot and will not be able to have an answer for everything. Why did God do this or why did God to that? Who knows what's in the mind of God? Maybe what you see as completely evil, you don't truly understand and can be a work of mercy and goodness. If you think God does evil things then that's your belief, but you have no idea why God does what He does and you really have no understanding to why certain things happen. We are not God! None of us claims he or she is God to answer such a none sense questions.
Well, if one was to argue using the whole "well if your god exists" thing let me use it as well. If God exists (which I believe He does) then He is most definitely a fair, merciful God and has infinity wisedom. He gives everyone a chance. I find it hard to believe that "if my god exist" he would make people and then not let know the good news of His existence.
Strangely, you jusy choose to reject the truth infront of you. Just know that "if my god exists" then He can do anything He wants. He can defy logic, mathematics, physics, and anything in between and above.
Now If you don't believe the story of Adam and Hawa and God, then you can't be angry with it and argue with God you already don't belief, can you?
It is okay with Atheist folks here if you worship a statue, because no one is claiming the statue is alive....but if you claim faith in God....well, that is really an believable here....Why you guys are not able to allow others their belief. Why do so many feel offended by anothers faith? That is the real mystery.
It isn't enough for the atheist crowd to be content in their belief that there is not a God. It seems necessary to attempt to completely destroy the entire belief systems of others in an effort to sustain their own unbelief! Now all of you little atheists have a choice to make....are you going to hold tight to your belief system and be tolerant of others ....or are you going to prove how vapid your own belief system is by bashing the faiths of others? Well...which is it?
I was observing, I kept silent about your never ending bulshit here and found an intertainning! But you guys going too far with this, you are very disrespectful. Whatever your beliefs are does not matter. Being atleast civil should be a given and respectful should be a great effort.
Some of you may have a very high IQ, but your social skills leave much to be desired...So, The rebel Social Conduct Course - lesson 1: when opening dialogues always keep a polite and respectful tone.
Well, my job is to declare the truth, so that when the judgment comes, I would not be held responsible for your ignorance. Until then keep playing your little games!! You and I die but Islam is here to stay untill the end.
Have a nice day all.
Only religious people worship things, I worship no one,and nothing. Death is the only certainity in my opinion, all other things are uncertain, and therefore are unknown. Infact Darwin made a guess of human decent as credible as the religious one. and after reading my copy of "decent of man " i was not impresssed with his theory either.....he is among those Neitzche calls sissy thinkers enslaved by religious morality.
The funny thing is Walaahil cadiim on the moment of death you will be screaming the name of Allah(swt) so he can come rescue you..
Its funny how these gaalo turn to religion when they are in situations where they have no control
deaf, dumb and blinded

Thats the truth!! And may even occur LONG before death. When you're still a kid, it's easy to refute the existance of God. But when the time comes for trial and tribulation, you see them not only thinkling that their just may be a God, but they actually start praying and hoping for it to be so. Nothing like a true challenge in life to make one hope and believe that their is a God, beacsue without faith, their is no hope. And with no hope, their is only darkness and unhappiness.
