One of the fundamental concepts of Allah's Law is that nothing that is enjoined by Allah is (ultimately) harmful to mankind, and anything forbidden by Allah is (ultimately) harmful to mankind.


Circumcision is the sunna, ultimately it is beneficial for mankind.

Fornication, alchohol, interest, immodesty etc. are all forbidden and are ultimately bad for mankind.

Let us not forget that most studies on heterosexual infections in our part of the world is passed from husband to wife. Unless you are not advocating the attitude that is embedded with our culture, let the men fornicate and all girls sexually mutilialated. The psuedo report said, "it reduces" and not eliminates, furthermore, it states "some studies" and not all. FGM is un-Islamic and the moral issue lies with the attitude of men and their attitude towards zina. Allah SWT created all of us to be horny for the right person in a Halal way.
