So Hanah I take it your man is loaded huh?? well good for you.

But some of us, on top what we have at the time and with the help of Allaah, we rely on our charm and looks to get where we want to get...and believe me the sea is full of different kind of fishes that help you with the expenses(you want equality so it should be 50/50) and even shelter you from the other wild animals, not that we need to be sheletered anyways. Very Happy

Caana Nuug,

I had my doubts that u belong to the Royal Family of Majeerteeniya, but i have a surefire way of knowing a Majeerteen guy and got my proof from one of your posts. (Who is clever enought to figure this litmus test)

You have established your Majeerteen credentials conclusively, but what i dont understand is why u have a picture of that Taliban Ogre Daahir Aweys in your nick?

Did your Majeerteen Father abuse and flee your hawiye mom and she brainwashed you into becoming a self hating Royal?

Those days have passed HannaH. Nowdays, there are many sistas who are willing to chip in for their man. The demand for quality brothers has increased and cost sharing is mandatory.

PS my grandfathers had simple ceremonies: feast of hilib, baris and Quran. NO HASSAN ADEN SAMATAR or RECEPTION @ HIlton Hotel.

AW.....

Whether it's Hilton and Xasan Adan Samatar or bariis and hilib...as a man that's your responsibility......Let's face it, Somalidu they say..Hebel ayaa guursanaya....do you ever hear? heblaaya guursanasa? No it's Heblaaya la guursanaya ama la guursaday.....

My point is, you are marrying me.....I will be damned if i foot the bill...for you inaad ii guursatid......atleast not a majority of it....if Im working too...I wouldnt mind for paying for little things like my dress, my bridesmaid's dresses..so on and so forth...but.....after we do get married...I would handle my buisness as a xaas. Like I said before...I don't believe in that 50/50 crap.....Men have roles, Women have roles too...nowadays people aren't playing their parts....that is the barobalam......

I wouldnt tell my kasban, after he gets home from work..Ohh, maanta I didnt cook..I didnt feel like it or yeah let me cook now...Id make sure it was on the table by the time he gets there.............

A woman is a woman, and a man is a man...a woman cannot be a man and a man cannot be a woman...There is no such thing as 50/50.

Cuz marriage is a drag; women nag too much; kids are as joyful as tax returns; i like my independence; don't like sharing bed with wifey after nooky; marriage as institution is as obsolete as 1 cent coins; too much undue expectations are latched on to marriage (like love and shiiit like that) these days...

... I'm engaged and all of the sudden developing cold feet!

"Abdiwahab”

Well, im not quite sure whether it will help u or not, but u can say “I enjoy the singleton lifestyle”. Or “Man propose and God expose”, and if they tried 2 repeat the same Q, (Change ur voice tone) and retort “Arooska Wa Calaf Dee”, lol. Keep on butting in and burbling (Hadaad Mid Yar Ii Heeysiin, Wa Wax Kale) while u are eyeing one of his/her sisters. Hadeey Mar Danbe Ku Weydiyaan the same Q, Dhagta Iga Gooy....Laughing

The longer you wait the harder it gets.

As girls get older while pursuing their career, they are so easy to have them as wives. Guys like Abdiwahab who are students, i am assuming they are, can search for such girls. But if you are looking for a cute 18 yearl, then I will suggest you go to Asia or Africa. Plenty of them. Young girls in the West are hard to satisfy besides they are very immature, having little understanding of the commitments of marriage.

Don't waste your time on less educated girls or dropouts who have been through lots of experiences.
