Got a clue on what this means "Heeri Maa Hee, Hana Haabaa, Hima heelaa ma Haa Boon'ee" means?

Lol, black isrealite? If saying somalia had a history equates to THAT my brutha you best get back to your fifa xbox games and khat.
I wouldn't want to hurt your brain with facts.
I don't know why he's calling you a black isrealite but you're right on the Indho Kuul, the word Kuul might be a corruption of the Arab word Kuxul but they definitely did not bring us the Indho Kuul eye adornment as he suggests, even the way Arabs apply it on their face is different than us. They usually draw on their faces too, something Somalis don't do. If they brought it to us, Somalis would have probably imitated them.

Thank goodness you know this too. Sad our new generation of somalis are quick to claim everything somali, let alone african, to the cadaan or indho yaar or timo dheer. Can't wait till some somali publishes a book on our culture and history.
There's hardly any proof of any one race inventing anything but rather we acknowledge the oldest we know of as the "first".
Lack of evidence doesn't equate to lack of existence.

Really want to know what the hare mahe song is about. Anyone?

Don't bother, do you see the girl dressed up in ninja in the video u posted, well in the next 50 years all the girls will be dressed like that and in the next other 50 years they will not even allow that tradition to continue and it will die off, that's Wahhabism and it's just the start, the contagion is in.

Well what do you expect when there arent any factories making somali clothing? It was bound to happen.
Dont mind the women dressing modestly. It'll be cool if it were with our traditional clothing though.
The men should start rocking them afros and wavy curls long too. With the white dresses and stuff. We look fire in that.

^ Lol, this has nothing to do with factories and clothing, we're in 2017 globalization brings you everything you need, heck, Ethiopia next door manufactures clothes that go all over the world, so this isn't about factories not making traditional clothing and it's definitely not about dressing modestly because that's insulting the other girls and calling them 'naked' like the Arab and European colonizers were doing. Also, this pic you posted in nothing more than a propaganda pic, this isn't our traditional clothing, this is muzzie stuff, these people are being robbed of their identity and their traditions, they got a muzzie cleric with them it's the guy with the long robe. You can't be for the Arabization of your people and then worry about their culture, that's being confused.

Thought we were talking about traditional clothing?
Reg clothing is cool but if we want a not so "arab" style we have to start that inside our country first.

That photo is as authentically somali as mood and baris. The white on white was out look first. The Arabs don't dress anything like this but I get the confusion.

If i was speaking like a European id be sayingo our ladis should dress down not up. Woman are beautiful but we men were never given the birth right to absorb it all.
It's unfair.

That africans MADE and used their kuul perhaps earlier that 5000yrs from today? When on earth did arabs "teach" it to us and with what proof can you support your claim? A similar word is meaningless, especially for languages that are on the same branch. Arabic did come out of the horn of africa and so did their language. Maybe their the ones who took the word from us?
1. Ancient Egyptians never had our land
2. Kuxul is a very ancient substance Arabs had for thousands of years

Somalia usually is not desert, the Arabians used it for daily use. The word Alcohol came from the word Kuxul in Arabic.

I don't think you've seen traditional clothing if you believe this white on white robe is Somali and Arabs don't dress like that.

^Those are Mecca outfits and the womans wearing white to match. Arabs traditionally layered their backs out.
The full white Is quite african. The tutsi, shiluk, and other africans wear a similar style to us somalis. Its not a crime to where similar styles but we aren't identical. Beside, most europeans and arabs dressed pretty much the same and all south asians to east asia dressed similarly too.
