Somalia is today on a crossroad that will determine the destiny of all Somalis and their future, but so far the sign are not thus encouraging. UIC have rose and disappear very quickly thanks to the marriage of political convenience between the TFG and the Ethiopia regime, but nonetheless the brief achievement left behind by the UIC seems to resonate in the heart of many Somalis irrelevant of their tribe. Before fading into the shadow of political obscurity, the UIC managed to do what United States and United Nation failed in almost 5 years of their botch humanitarian operation and thus disarming the myriad of warlords who have for long held hostage the country and its war-stricken people.

Although many of you might disagree on the political ethos of UIC, there is a consensus that the UIC was a force of good, driven by shear necessity and backed by popular support from Somalis to put to a stop the warlords’ free-run of terror, fear and unabated killings in Somalia. UIC did give the conglomerate of warlords a test of their on medicine, serving a multitude of toxins that include the confiscation of their property, material, arms and dismantling checkpoints which were the main source of revenue for the warlords and uncalled harassments for the inhabitant of the city.

Now a year on, the UIC has evaporated off course not with the blessing of majority of Somalis, but thanks to marriage of inconvenience by the TFG and Ethiopia regime. The after effect of such union might be a quick military expedience against the UIC (hold your breath if your supporter of TFG!) is still too early to celebrate that happy anniversary of this unholy marriage (LOL). It’s quite obvious on the outset, that this union of political convenience was not a march made in heaven. Historically Ethiopians and Somalis are not fond of each other; in fact they are bitter enemies. Somalia and Ethiopia have gone to war a dozen times. So why leader like Abdullahi Yussuf seek help from Somalis’ tradition enemy? Is it not logic not to invite Zenawi to meddle in internal politics of your country, given the history of the two countries? Here are my unqualified scientific findings.

My assumption are that given the popular support for UIC and its convictions in pursue of warlord free Somalia, it was a matter of time that TFG was bound to disintegrate amidst the onslaught of UIC and the wrath of patriotic Somalis. The only way to rescue this so called government was to invite Ethiopia although the option to negotiate with UIC was there which both side failed to capitalized on. My second assumption is that the TFG is a nothing but a club of sadistic and murderous warlords, killings, maiming, terrorizing the helpless and raping the women is an art that they have perfected to extreme and negotiating analyzing and dealing with complex political situation like the inception and the subsequent rise of UIC is beyond the intellectual capacity.

It’s too big of a math for them to put together. My third assumptions which hold truth is that warlords of TFG caliber don’t have a sense of patriotism on their side and off course the interest of Somalia and her people at mind, greed and self aggrandizements is their motives. As we have seen this warlords will bend over for anybody who is willing to do their bidding. Abdullahi Yussuf and his coalition sadistic companions are not angels; don’t be fool. A/Yussuf was nothing but a condom that was used to enter Somalia. Nothing cruel but getting penetrated by your enemy (I will leave that to your imagination). Sure if Somalia was a male and could speak, it will have a harrowing tale to tell, full of cruelty and absolute humiliation. The killings of rape of juvenile girls, collective punishment, the disintegration of peaceful alternative voice and constant terrorizing the innocent has been champion by the TFG and its slave master Ethiopian armed force. These are the product of TFG, supported at your own peril. If its not you today, tomorrow might be yours (LOL).

Your analysis does not go farther than UIC. U should know that this Tigre occupation was in the making for a long time.

Even before Arte government, the Tigre's were arming the warlords, when the Arte government appeared they created SSRC or something, composed of the same warlords who are now in the TFG.

During the Kenyan circus conference, Ethiopia spearheading IGAD have created the rules of the game, and thus succesfully infilitraded in the creation of Somali state institutions.

When they created this socalled TFG, the next question they wanted to solve was how to relocate it to Somalia, and another warlord Maxamed Dheere also part of the old club SSRC hosted it for months.

Even before UIC appeared Tigre troops were along the border and even came to Baidoba went they wanted to relocate their puppet institutions to Baidoba.

So UIC just played right in their hands by yelling Jihad the first day they came to power in Mogadishu, in this way they played in the hands of Tigre's and Traitors. And thus have intermingled justifiable and legitimate Somali goals with ''holly'' international conflict.

So the UIC was just a part, crucial though, of this whole sad story of Tigre occupation of Somalia and its capital.

I think you are off the mark than me. Sure both TFG and UIC have competiting parties such as Eritria and Ethiopia behind the political goals and so forth. But its clear that the support shown by Somalis towards UIC was not ochestrated by Eritria as such, but was a genuine supported against the free run warlorlds that has recked havoc in Somalia. With regard to Ethiopia they have a much sinister goal. Eritria might have supported the UIC to get back on Ethiopia, but Zenawi's ambition is to see Somalia complete disintegrate or in the current case installed a regime open to its influence, the issue of jihadist and islamic terrorist was just front and pretext given the natural histeria brought about by terror around the world many people westerners bought the propaganda. in the case of Somalia the description of terror fits well with acts carried out by the warlords that include A/Y amongst others. They have done for almost 2 decades and they action of killings the innocent, raping women and stiffling political thought for pure self interest that includes aggrandazimenst in pursue of wealth is much documented and in my view that is what terroism implies to my best of my knowledge.
