Interesting Question, some dude I was talking to earlier....

mentioned that infact, it was better in the long run for Beesha Sade when ICU attacked Kismayo. Reason being? Marexan would most probably have joined the ICU if they were never invaded, as they were always supporters of the courts, and had a soft spot for the deen. However with the ICU being a covert qabiliste entitiy, coupled with the fact that Marexan would be on the losing side, it is better everything worked out the way it did. It is better that the ICU attacked Sade, and that Sade joined this Government (By name only), and has a non-aggression relationship with Eithiopia where we don't transgress against them, and they don't transgress against us. We're not even being asked to prostitute ourselves to Eithiopia like the other clans. However if things were reversed, if the ICU never attacked Kismayo, and we joined them, today we would be on the losing side and would face the fate of Habar Gidir. Whats worse, we would be under the mercy of AY and his clan, which is a scary proposition. Another thing working in our favor, is that we share the longest border degan wise with Eithiopia then any other clan. In addition to that the biggest supply road that the Xabashis use, goes through Gedo. These supply routes would most certainly be sabatoged, and the Sade in Ogadenia who the second most populous would be enraged if Eithiopia did the same thing to Kismayo as Xamar. That would be scary for Eithiopia, due to possible Marexan Gedo supplying and supporting ONLF through their long border with Eithopia. Even more, the Xabashis would face a fierce tough resistance in Kismayo as Marexan would be enraged and fight to the death. But most importantly, again its those crucial supply lines that go through Gedo to Xamar that could be sabatoged. So I've come to the conclusion that all in all, Sade pimped this TFG for peanuts, and everything worked out for the best for Sade. So build your homes in Kismayo, and start your ganacsi endeavors, because we're here to stay. Cool
