The constant gardener

Postby *Nobleman* » Sun Jul 01, 2007 5:01 pm

i just finished watching the constant gardener, its about the corruption of pharmaceutical companies and how they use Africans as guinea pigs. It was meant to be set in kenya and southern sudan, but theres a couple of scenes in southern sudan where the african people are talking in somali. They were talking nonsense, the white people probably thought the somali was some kind of african trade language.

anyone else seen it?

Its funny because I was at my bros' place visiting and the movie was just sitting there. At first it sounding real boring to me but since I had nothing to do, I started watching it. Wallahi, I didnt even pause it to attend to something else the entire movie. Later, I just stole it from them and they think till today they lost the movie. Anyways, i remember the scene you are talking about, and I dont get it either. Confused

Btw, I just finished watching Miss Potter, anyone watched it. Confused

Auditioned for Black Hawk Down but was turned down for being too "realistic" Surprised

Constant Garderner brought out many scenes of my time in Kenya.

lol......Basra you should try out for 'The Simple Life' with Paris Hilton and them. nonetheless your blatant contempt for 'low people' is funny at times
