You have a point there, however, it can also be the same for an arranged marriage. Thats life, nothing guarantees us whether a marriage is going to work or be successful or any thing for that matter. Its hard work, and I think is better when you are making it happen with someone you picked yourself. What if this choosen certain person truns out to be a psycho or completely different. Again its a personal choicse, but I rather, share my life with someone I'm comfortable with and know to a certain extend.
Btw, dont be afraid of love, its a beautiful thing. U dont have to be blinded by love to get into a marriage you are not ready for. Take your damn time and get to know the person and have those real talks.
