I wanted to gauge the level of interest among Somali folks in the States for a service to provide security, crowd control and ensure your wedding/party/political rally etc goes smoothly.

How does spending over $10,000 for your event only to be cheap on security resulting in:

1. Fights
2. Overcrowding due to uninvited guests resulting in the paying extra for seats, food etc
3. Lots of those yoyo ciyaal suuq punks taking over your event
4. Party being shut down

I was thinking of setting up a security service that would:

1. Keep rif raf like those Ciyaal suuq punks out
2. Prevent overcrowding
3. Quelling any fights or preventing them from occuring


So if there was such a service, would u hire them ?

I was told of one wedding where the ticketless ciyal jumped through the windows of the toliet to get in.

Personally wedding are not really my scene.

Hiring security is realtivley cheap these days,

security personal that are sensitive to somali culture would be welcome/

The only thing i learned down the queue lines in Stratford REX is that somalis would respect non somali secuirty guards. and your party will be smooth as hell throught the night ..

Seriously, I think this could take off. A well designed, organized team that would be able to provide ample security with a touch of understanding Somalis.
