Dahir Aweys, when the ICU were around, admitted that he released ina Yusuf out of compassion. Do you really think a man captured and corned in to a prison hole would be capable of issuing threats about "having him destroyed"
Ina Yusuf was begging for his life when he was prisoned in the infamous Ethiopian prison. His family used to send out pleas for his release but it wasn't until after Mengistu's depature that he was released.
