[quote="Meles Zenawi"]Pure Rubbish down

This is all nonsense. This inititive was suggested by me, and the Transitional Federal Government Of Somalia, thought it was a good idea. This has nothing to do with my friends Somaliland. Its not like they need an influx of terrorists guised as 'refugees'. The reason I introduced this was because I heard a lot of terrorists from Mogadishu are going to Hargeisa. We want to keep all the terrorists confined in Mogadishu, so we can hunt them down and iliminate them a la April. Makes sense?

[quote="Ismahan123"]PHD's logic was semi understandable, this kismayo21 who I suspect is newyork23 as well is just scary.

First of all this mentally that just because the leader is of a certain clan, than the clan he comes from rather rules over then entire Somali nation is just ridiculous and shortsighted. Secondly, no need to stearotype clan for well, all "Somalis" are under occupation South or even North( UP North). Faan been ah wax manee tarayo ee fadhiga ka kaca. Genius, Adigu if I support S/land or not wax ka 15ah? In fact, yes, I do support them and expect no gain or rescue from them at all. In all reality, we are all prisoners in our own homes, therefore, there can never be any rescuing until we rescue ourselves first from one another.

Ismahan, what is your unviable proposition in their case? Why do you support the seperatist movement of your country? Is it because these Iidoors have suffered under the economic and political differentials of Somalia, which were grounded in inequalities and traits that set each tribe of Somalia apart from one another?

Its funny you use the word seperatist to distinguish S/land from Jubbaland, Putland etc. I mean, what is the different? Are they all not based on qabil and thus contribute to the basic idea as to why Somalia is in the mess that it is in today. The hardships that the people of S/land suffered where in the hand of its own gov't unfortuantely, and throughout it all and after all these year, they are the only group of people in our vast country to show any progress. To me, as an individual, that is where my support lies for them. As much as I would love to see Somalia stay as one, its not and will not be for a every long time.

The difference is

Puntland, Jubbaland, Maakhir still consider themselves part of Somalia

And Qabil has become politics so we are gonna have even more of these states inside the country

Ismahan, don't beat around the bush. Seperatism means creating a state that is indepedent of Somalia. Jubaland, Maakhir State and Puntland are all part of Federal Somalia.
