My cousin has enlisted me for some odd reason to talk to her son out of getting me married to this woman whom she disapproves of. Her son is 22 and his wife to be is at least 30 years old. The son has yet to finish college and is a penniless college student who has yet to become a responsible person and is not financially secure to start a family.

My mission should I accept it is to see that it doesn't occur. Somehow, I wonder what gave her the idea that I am the man for the job.

This is the second time that some islaan has asked me to take her son under my wing.

Had to read that sentence several times before I got it.

Abdiwahab, what's the 30 year old woman's background. Does she have a job and why is she attracted to the kid?

All I can advise you is not to promise your cousin anything. My own late-teenage cousin got married to a 30+ garoob despite the threats from his wealthy father. Ladies have a tremendous power over boys. It has something to do with the Oedipus complex probably.
