Hi,

Not sure if that's the right place but since it's one of the most popular forums I think it makes it eligible;)

Basically, I'm doing some research and hoping to get some feedback here. The same questionnaire is used in several other countries as I'm expecting opinions from different parts of the world.

The research is about the factors that drive us to the Web.

From the point of view of importance, why you personally need the WWW?
In other words, which from the presented three aspects of the World Wide Web is the most important for yourself?

I use the internet mostly for knowledge activities (news, reports, information, reviews, how-tos, coding, technology, science, health, etc). While I am engaged in those activities, I sneak from time to time to post few/several comments.

It's an opportunity for you to publish knowledge, ideas and products to the world and become accessible to anybody and anywhere, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, that is, the web gives you a round-the-clock interactive service at a reduced expense! Can you think of any other cost effective communication medium that can do this for you???

How are you going to rate members in this forum as they come from different parts of the world. I think you are suppose to target groups in different countries to make your analysis easy.

Doing any kind of regional analysis is really beyond the scope of this research I just need results from as many different people as possible. I mean, I want to try to cover different people from different environments and with diffferent lifestyles and attitudes

If you are looking for numbers then that is fine. But still how can you group people in this forum in terms of different lifestyles & attitude? You seem to ask just one question?

I think if I run this on different continents that means different environments and traditions and, hence, different lifestyles and attitudes. Again, that is just my assumption and I'm not going to argue if it is not obvious but I hope it makes sense
