Short Exciting Life Vs. Boring Long Life

Which of the two would you chose ?

Short Exciting life in which you get everything you desire: money, power, status etc. but you won't live past age 40.


Long Boring Life which you don't get everything and live a mediocre existance working for someone and barely getting bye but you live up to age 85.

So which would you pick ?

Dont you want to see your children get married and have children?

Dont you want to sit back and enjoy your retirement.... so you can take trips around the world... visit hajka ten times over..?

Its just my personality. I hate being weak or unable to take care of myself. I wanna go out at the peak of my strength and intellectual ability and that is 35-40. I don't want to experience old age.

I pray for a long life so I can have more time worshipping Allah and ride out the greatest gift Allah has bestowed upon man: Life. See my grandchildren and teach them things about life only a grandfather can.


When I see old men full of wisdom taking care of their communities, I look forward to experience old age. Every facet of life is beautiful and blissful in its own way. Ironically most of us will understand that when it's too late.
