The USC had a huge advantage in weapons inventory. Part of that advantage would have been negated, however, by the huge distances involved. Logistically is would have been very difficult to sustain the USC north of Galkayo. Had Aideed been able to hold it together, the USC woud have presented real problems for the SNM. However, that does contrast with the advantages the SNM had. The SNM was one of the most disciplined insurgent groups in African history. IT was well organized, which counts for a lot in combat. Furthermore, it would have had the support of the local population. Really, it would come down to the other factions such as the SPM. If they were still playrs, the USC could not leave the back door wide open, and thus would have to deployt resources to prevent SPM pressure from the south from making serious geograhic inroads into south-central Somalia.
May Caydiid rot in Naar
General Aideed(rahimullah/may Allah have mercy on his soul)saved somalia from a evil dajjal. This dajjal wanted to destroy islam in somalia by first changing the writing system, then allowing somalis to dress halfnaked and then he abolished Jilbaab. You should thank him, instead of cursing him,you ungrateful worshipper of the dajjal.
