North Korea: Get a Nuke, Get Paid, Int'l Recognition, Safety

Postby Gedo_Boy » Tue Nov 06, 2007 12:21 pm

The North Korean saga has shown how the US State Dept. says one thing and thinks along the lines of another.

Iraq: No nuclear weapons program, non-proliferator, weak army, crumbling economy, sanctioned for years.

North Korea: Detonated an atomic bomb, proliferated weapons/technology, declared any sanctions to be "an act of war", even flew missles over Japanese islands.

Guess who got paid, foreign aid/investment pouring in, off the "Axis of Evil" and even got the security guarantees that made them pursue nukes in the first place.

Pyongyang agreed to disabling nukes in return for aid and security guarantees?

Hey Iran, did you hear that?
