yeah those are not horses but ponies. they look nice though. one of my uncles used to own a large herd of horses back in the day but he sold them all to some Arabs after the civil war.

That is what I consider Ponies saxib. These horses of Makhir haven't been bred for commercial purposes or race track events, but they are real horses.

Compare that one to the pictures above?

They are a different type of pony saaxib. Horses are focking huge and those are not horses. At 5'11" I can walk between a horses legs without leaning forward.

I am looking for a video that I have seen back in the days. This video was about the Inauguration of Sutlan Said. The video is about the ceremony of horseback riding by a group of men who were the retainers of the Sultan. They were riding with such a speed that you wonder how did they master.

I hope to find it this video. It was a long time ago since I saw the video.

No one is denying that Sanaag has horses saaxib but those ones in the pictures you posted are not horses. I am sure if you look for them, you can find pictures of the horses in Sanaag.

Who told you horses are huge? Are you mistaking them with Hinnies, the giant horse-like Animal, which is the offspring of a male horse and female donkey that you see often in Downtowns.

This is a real horse , the ones for race tracks.
http://www.carterperformancehorses.com/ ... 20Sale.jpg How is tall is this compared to Makhir horses.
