I agree with the declining standards. I think when people get hung up on virginity TOO much then we lose sight of what was wrong. I strongly feel that a woman's attachment to a man is dependent on how many men she has had sex with. If there are too many relationships I think it becomes more unlikely a healthy marriage can develop.


As for the virginity for virginity's sake, I read some stories about women in Arabia who are scandalous but want to keep their virginity b/c it will be discovered upon marriage.

These women would allow the man to have anal sex with them and perhaps oral sex just to maintain their virginity. So on the wedding night this guy may be happy he's got a virgin, but is she really a virgin?

That's what MIGHT happen if you get too caught up on virginity as a status.
