ogaden is a name given by the british they did that only to divide the ppl thats why ogadens feel superior and they see them selves as the true owners of the borders thats why you have the urur called onlf. british waa dad suun ah maa oogtahay like they have done to pakistan and india.so in 1960 we though we were finnaly free but was is excetly so. cuss in 77 siyaad barre wanted to recapture ogadenia back but many ogadens were against it see if the elders dont come togheter both ethios and somalis and dont fix these problems the problem will still exsist.

If we Ogaadeens expressed our solid support and are united behind the ONLF 100%, those flithy habashi would have been driven out in a day,and we would not be here discussing why the region is named OGADENIA.Back to the question.This is not the first time people question the concept of OGADENIA or will it be the last this is brought this up.Laakiin,its truly sad that when people will do anything to prove a point against why the region is named by a particular clan without any base. While on the other hand,craving for a non existent name that was envision by said barre to rally support.Dammit,I dont even know why we're discussing this.:{ There are more important issues to worry about than the name.The name can be changed any time people, but getting freedom is what we need.So my advice to those who resent the name, first be part of the struggle for you to even have a say in, then we'll go from there.

abaayo there was a new rule created at the paris farance ogaden meeting,witch was lets not waste time explaining the name anymore.
