First of all. thanks for the inputs. Never mind those small interuptions caused by silly utterings of some members.
As for the inputs,
People have confused this topic for the widely discussed issue of the name for the region, which is ''Ogaden region''. Also people imply that the Ogaden group is the majority in the region, without having a solid evidence to support their claims. It looks like the name of the region is seen as a justification for claiming that the group is majority.
The Ogaden group may be a majority when compared to other Somali subclans individually, but when compared to all other Somali groups they are far from been a majority. You will find almost every Somali subclan living in Somali Galbeed, so in no way can one group be larger than all those multiple Somali subclans combined. Also, we are all familiar with the debate of Ogaden vs Ooga-degeen.
Anyways those are all irrelevant for the current debate, as the debate is about the ambition of some supporters of ONLF and ONLF members themselves of creating a state based on their ideology, which they have termed ''Ogadenia''.
It is not the name that concerns me or other Somaliweyn supporters, but the idea of having a next-door state based on the ideology of ONLF, which is basically one group-struggle for liberation of their regions from Ethiopian occupation.
Somalia, as said earlier, has sacrificed its whole existence in pursuing the liberation of those regions. So it becomes logical that Somali Galbeed should be integrated into Somalia proper.
This is a debate about possible scenario's for the post-liberation, since Somalis seem to forget post-plans always and like GB said, focus on the conflict to achieve something, while forgetting how to implement the post-conflict agenda.
