saxib what happens is that the onlf faces the ethiopian army in battles,as you know the mijority of the ethiopian army is oromo, xabashi who are not happy with the rule of the tigree regime,so they go into battle without confidence and lose to the onlf.in return zenawi bombs villages hoping to turn the people against the movement but it back fired and gave the people a reason to support the movement.
when that plan failed he now turned to the other somali tribes and some ogaden students to fight the onlf, they lost to the onlf 2 and most of them sacaped to kenya and told stories of how they were forced to fight but couldnt stop the onlf. read this.

now will see what his plan c is.

the troops are every where thats what bothers zenawi a lot, they are among the people and are dug deep in the heartland, thats why he takes it out on the civilians.the bush adminstration has been trying to add the onlf to its terror list but congress blocked it thanks to alaah the almighty and congress man peynes relation ship with the onlf.the onlf meets with congress atleast once a month.
