This idiots thing the South is like the North --where a whole or city is owned by one tribe and all other tribes can't settle or do business in the other region or they will be killed.
The South is very multicultural, diverse and very liberal. Nobody cares who belongs who, and ppl intermarry and intermingle alot. Its just who ever has military power this days takes control and then another more powerful one comes and then on and on! but finally one a legitimate government comes --its everybodies city.
Ogadens and degodia drove the orom or galla and push them all the way to Garissa and never come back, then come sheeqaal and gaaljecel. Bajuns, were living along the coast for a long time. some Hartis come in the 60s and they like the fruits and never go back. Ogaden and Majerteens were fighting over it in the era of Omar jess and Morgan. Mareexans come in the 90s and they claiming it. Its who ever has a bigger AK47. Also Habergidir captured the city three times, one during Aideed, one with Marexaans and one with the ICU --they also can claim it.
But if you wanna make it clear cut tribal regions --then it will be Issaq to the North, Darood to Central, Hawiye to the South (from Mudug to Kismayo all the way to the border of Kenya libio.).
