This is an idiom, not a proverb:

Qofkaasi xuushada xaarka ugama kaco (Bakhyl weeye)...
Qofkaasi futo aanu lahayn buu ku xaaray...(Qofka is tuska ah ee isku qaada waxaan awoodiisa ahayn)

Both of these idioms make a lot of sense but they are nasty to say ...

The 'doqon' series of mahmaah are lacking in this thread. I remember an exam during high school in which I was asked to write 10 maahmaah regarding doqon. I will try to recall as many as I can.

I love some proverbs. They are so focking true, especially the ones concerning ungrateful people and stupid people. It is true, never help a stupid person for they will only see you as their biggest enemy. Problem is they are sometimes family members. lool
