whos watched this film?

Horta what was with the bit where the guys father died and suratul fatixa was being read at his funeral?
The father had an affair with his servents wife, gets her pregnant and then his drinking glasses of whisky just before he dies. Okaaaaaaaaaaaay. And this is all set in Afganistan by the way.

i havent seen the movie but i read the book and i heard the adaptation was horrible. also the movie wasnt set in afghanistan it was filmed in china or some place i think.
