Voltage,

Not the capital is used as example, but what happens in that city lol. If business entreprises like ceel macaan and ex-Albarakaat were in other cities then ofcourse they would be mentioned.

Anyways,

After Mogadishu and direct environs comes Bosaso and direct environs. So either way, those regions are the economical centre's of Somalia.

Mogadishu is a ghost town, if you go to bosaso and come back a few weeks later, you could not even recognize the place anymore. New buildings are build everywhere, its booming and the port is way over its capacity

As far as I am concerned the discussion is about SOMALIA. The only people who brought regions in here were you and Cabdallah. Missed your coffee this morning?

Somaliweyn, business like Ceel-Macaan would not have flourished anywhere else. Are you forgetting Ceel-Macaan was only formed by the Benadir Company because of the closure of Mogadishu port? In essence Ceel-Macaan=National Port for a long time. And you said you were an economics major?

Showing off about a black market where human body parts and fake passports are sold just to spite Puntland and Somaliland is what I call pure jealousy. What does me asking that Puntland not be lumped with the savagery of the south have to do with the Bakara market? That was completely non sequitur.

My friend just came back there and all he talked about was something that looked worst then the most ugliest part of the American ghetto and where he almost dehydrated to death cuz all his water was spent as sweat to cool himself from the oppressive heat. Maad aadid if Boosaaso is as you say? What makes you live in Dubai when you are couple hours away from Boosaaso?

Lol look at this jealous ape. Bosaso is hot during the summer months, we're in the dead of winter now. Think, stupid.

It's true man, even muqdisho as shitty as it is has better economy then anywhere else in somalia, just because somaliland and puntland are enjoying peace does not mean they have a better economy or make more money.

''Are you forgetting Ceel-Macaan was only formed by the Benadir Company because of the closure of Mogadishu port? ''

Wrong, Ceel Macaan was in use since 1991 for humanitarian purposes, after 1997/8 it was reopened. Still it does not explain why it became succesfull since there were other ports serving Mogadishu, like Jasiira port (Muse-Caato joint venture lol), Merca port, Kismanyo port etc. Or why it could surpass Bosaso, Berbera and Kismanyo combined in terms of revenues generated eventhough those three ports were serving larger populations then Mogadishu's population.

Puntland is more than 3 times richer than most of the south, and probably 12 or 13 times richer than Jubbaland/gedo (the poorest part of somalia with only a GDP per capita of around 150$)

Any city where Somalis live is Somalia. I am so tempted to lock all qabil obsessed people in a room and go Tony Montana on them.
