The battle of Port Massawa saw the beginning of the end of amhara rule in eritrea. The end of 2million amharra terrorising our beautiful country. The city was bombed for 7months non stop after it was liberated, thousands died and the city was leveled to the ground, Russia and USA etc aiding the amhara to reoccupy the city. Again Eritreans prevailed against all odds. In 1991, within 2 days saw half a million amhara running for their lives after the EPLF were few kilometers from Asmara.
