Morgan is not a killer-- he was the Minister of Defense of a legitimate government. Why can't you people understand that?
check your PM yoooo...

it doesnt matter if he was part of a legitimate government, he is a killer and a war criminal and dont think this is about qabil cause i dont give two shyts about that

just cause he was apart of a legit govt gave him the right to bomb the 2nd largest city to pieces? C'mon, if Morgan was Hawiye esp HG you'd realize he is just as much as a war criminal as the Hawiye warlords and their mooryan in Mogadishu were

and James Dahl pretty much said it best

FAH

Morgan was a just a man following orders, why the need to put the onus on him when the orders to bomb hargeisa came from the chief of Somalia at that time, Mr. Siade barre(aun). Let's call a spade a spade here, and stop listening to whoever is feeding you the propaganda.

lol Fah,

"Morgan is not a killer-- he was the Minister of Defense of a legitimate government. Why can't you people understand that" that's a classic one right there.

Rebel, lol, who are you kidding.

He wasn't just following orders, any commander of any sorts is responsible for what ever actions are taken on the ground. Siaad barre wasn't there telling him to act totally out of hand.
Wasn't it his job to ask for permission first? Isn't that the sole responsiblity of any head commander of any force?

Is telling the truth something bad, objective criticism about the regime doesn't have to mean insulting the dead man. But I don't disagree with you about morgan. What people need to do is stop using morgan and others as scapegoats and criticize the whole regime.

Shirib,

No offense bro but these dense induviduals on Somalinet are turning You into a friggin nacas. How the hell do You compare a Head Of State who is being evaluated as a Head Of State responsible for every Somali's security next to Caydid AUN who was only responsible for HG security? Are You retarded?

The comparison is cause they're dead. I really don't get into old history, but u can't possibly be like sadeboi, who thinks Siad Barre has done nothing wrong.
Lately Morgan has been going around the Gulf as Abdullahi Yusuf's envoy trying to collect money to wage war on Kismaayo. In Oman, before he was to meet the King, the King sent for Hassan Mohammed Siad Barre who is living there and serves as the King's ambassador from Somalia, and when Morgan walked in to beg for money he got the surprise of his life.
We Might as well resurrect Siyad Barre from his qabri in Nigeria and burn the fcker if we are going to blame Gen Morgan who was getting his orders from the late dictator. This is unacceptable. You can't glorify Siyad Barre and put blame on Gen Morgan.
