Sir-Luggoyo,
How long do you think we should remain as by-standers in the environments that we live? Voting in this election is crucial both to Somalis in the U.S. and those in Somalia. The future of many nations including that of Somalia will be dictated by who wins the White House this November, we can choose to idly sit in front of the TV while our future is decided for us by millions of Americans or we can choose to make a difference. Policy making decisions start in America, its pointless to focus on "Somali issues/news" while the really big issue is staring us in the face.
Sh. Khalid Yassin: "Do you know how many votes the Mayor of Mpls needs to become elected? 50,000 votes. There are over 100,000 Somalis in this city, over 150,000 Muslims; do you not see the power that you hold?"
