Watching your wife giving birth to your child is a noble thing...but its not in our culture be it in Islam and/or Somali...thats left for the women..her mom..your mom..sisters.etc etc.

Its not a manly man's job..if you know what I mean..lol

Cali Gaab

Considering you're the one who put her in that state in the first place,it's only fair that you stand by her side, hold her hand and try to comfort her. Your excuses for not wanting to participate in your wifes labor are flat out lame! Initially you stated that you were scared that she might fart in your presence. After realizing just how inane you sounded you preceded to say something even more absurd which was that watching your wife in labor would be like witnessing her rape LOL.The similarities between rape & labor beats me but what I do know for certain is that you might be suffering some sort of psychological problems!

[2 night ago for instance, i found a dead rodent in my house so i grabbed a stick and tapped it just to make sure it was dead. Even though the stick was a long metal bar, upon touching it i could feel the bar shivering up my hand and dropped it,]

Vainchick, i did not say i was scared because she could fart in my presence i said and i quote what i initially said

"Besides, when women give birth they tend to fart sometimes due to the imense force of pressure they use, dont you think this is embaressing for the wife and she doesn't prefer you to witness this"

I am not backing down from my statements and this is what was said, not what you percieve it as to be.
