Speaking of xalaal khamri, I served Sparkling Apple Cider as one of the drinks at my wedding reception.....I specifically instructed them to pour it befor people come in and guess what, as they were doing this, people started coming in.....and there was a small uproar...they were like ma khamri baa...ala...whispers...stares....huruuf...Lool...Anyway, my mom went around and told them no...

looooooooooool. if it looks like khamri, people would assume it to be so..even if it tastes like apple. naa let me tell u something, i once went to this wedding that rivaled the most lavish gaalo wedding..these skinnies took gaalo ku dayasho to another level. walahi only the priest pronouncing them husband and wife baa ka maqnaa.lol. her dad walked her down the isle at the reception.lol. they exchanged rings and toasted to champaign(xalal.lol) drinking it from champaign flutes..and after they exchanged rings, they kissed for a good 2 minutes(french style.lol)
