On Route to Somalia/land

I recently purchased a 6 week ticket to Somaliland for me and my Elder Brother we have never been and want to explore Somalia as a whole............all i am hearing about is the violence that is going on in Somalia and i was wondering Is It Safe? for us to take a Journey there this Summer or should i puspone it till next year.

p.S i have seen some amazing images of our motherland so if any of you have some feel free to post them and also if you have been recently how was it and is their any specific place we should visit......Thnx

oh..... one last advice!!

Make sure u can speak somali...... and act rude in coffee shops otherwise u aint gettin served.

Go for it I say..you'll like it.

but make sure you see your G.P first before you go...regarding travel vaccinations. Its important if you dont want to get sick with diarrhoea/malaria

Oh yea got my vaccinations already thnx....and as for wearing diriics i dont own 1 oh my dayz :shock:

...... i was tinking i was gonna wear more along the lines of a old baggy shirt and some track pants cuz i needs to be comfortable climbing those mountains i plan on covering every square mile of somali in those 6 weeks insh'allah
