Right now Somalia is divided among UIC and TFG supporters, and it seems your with the wrong crowd, those fighting the TFG. You wana fight Ethiopians fight them in your own borders no point looking toward a broken country that could hardly help it self stand on its own two feet. Somalia is trying to establish a government and your country is just making it harder for us to do that while it is looking toward Somalia for support; you wana fight the Ethiopian lets not make Somalia another battle field since it seems this is what the Eritreans are trying to do by helping the UIC.

Who elected the TFG? Not the Somalis, that's sure thing. The same people funding the war lords (US and ETHIOPIA), are the same sponcers of the TFG. The ICU did bring peace to Southern Somalia, even if it was for 6 months.

Seeing the history between Somalia and Ethiopia, it's not the Eritreans who've sent their sons daughters to Somalia, it's your neighbors you've been fighting since the 1300s. War between Ethiopia and Somalia is not new but what is new are SOME somalis supporting an invasion of their country.

Other then Sheikh Shariif and other few honest men the majority of the ICU have a long history of wracking Somalia, lets not over look such group just because of the 6 month the capital enjoyed peace; ICU had hopes when they routed the Warlords out, something even the TFG welcomed, but it went wrong when men like Aways and Indha-Ade, known thugs changed its course to invade other peaceful areas, later making the error of invading Baydhabo (the then TFG headquarters).

About who elected the TFG, well, for any election to take place there must be law and order in place (this is common sense), unfortunately at the time Somalia didn't had any law and order in place let alone a government. The TFG is a product of a 2 year peace conference that took place in Kenya, everyone from warlords to clan leaders took part in it. So by saying no one elected the current government in place in Somalia, I could only conclude the ICU fed the Eritreans the usual horsesh!t they cry on a daily bases.

Like I said Somalia could hardly help it self stand on its own two feet, this is a broken country which experienced nothing but anarchy for the last 17 years; so lets not use the history between Somalia and Ethiopia to incite old wounds, the past is behind us now and our only worry for the moment is getting Somalia back on its own two feet, and by supporting the ICU your just delaying the process. What have the ICU done for Eritrea other then getting it on the list of terrorists founding states? Nothing! Eritrea is just wasting its time with Somali affairs so I suggest you find better alternatives, because ICU sure ain't helping neither Somalia no Eritrea at the moment.

TFG and ICU aren't the best thing Somalia has seen or needs to see but right now, the worst of these evils in my opinion are the TFG camp. TFG has no plans what so ever to reunite somalia. Both Somaliland and Puntland are ruled by different adminstartions who aren't controled by the TFG. Lets be real, once the Ethiopians and the Bush Adminstration is gone, the TFG will likely be the 15 failed government in Somalia since 1991. ICU isn't perfect, nor is it a democratic in nature but when comparing it to the TFG, a US sponcered government created from Ex-warlords in suits, one does not need rocket science to see the lesser of these two evils.


Don't kid yourself bro, Eritrea is a poor country, it does not have the resources to support a rebel movement inside Somalia to this nature. Outside infulences, mainly coming from the Arab World, are funding much of the weapons and cash needed to fund this war. Eritrea is just the name BBC gives you to save time from naming all the major players, besides, Ethiopia loves it more than anything when only Eritrea is singled out, it makes it look like the "good guy invader" (if there is such a thing?), while Eritrea is sponcering wars and destruction (as if invading a country brings goodies?) is what Ethiopia, un and us want folks like you to believe, when in reality, not a single Eritrean soldier has set foot inside Somalia but Ethiopia has over 35,000 troops bringing peace through bullets and uncle sam bombing whole villiages from the sky and writting emails to BBC on how Eritrea is a state sponcer of terror who has yet to take a Somali life....kinda hard when you're killing people and trying to prove to the very people that you're killing that it's another country to fault for you killing them...

I actually like the ICU, just not the radical few ones America likes to talk about. Somalia needs something tough and these guys are the real deal but they're still not perfect, there's things in their polices I don't like but nonetheless, they are the best hope right now for Somalia.
