The chaos in Somalia started back in the early 90's. Mogadishu did not become ravaged by war yesterday, or today. What we should really focus on is STOP the fighting and put down the guns. I'm sure if we don't fire at the Ethiopians they would not fire back. I'm sure if we did not shoot and kill their soldiers, Somalis would not be shot and killed.

I would like people to give a chance to any means to establish peaceful governance, and if taht means it comes with Ethiopian help, I am all for it. Let's make one thing clear, Somali problem existed before Ethiopians came.

Ethiopia was involved in Somalia's internal affairs before the civil war. Armed opposition groups (AY, SNM, etc) were based in Ethiopia. Ethiopia financed, trained and armed those groups. After the start of the civil war, Ethiopia continued to finance, support and arm those groups. As I have stated, it's very clear that you support occupation. You want and advocate that Somalis not resist occupation. You want and advocate submission and humiliation for Somalis.

If was are talking about the financing, and support of armed groups in Somalis, then we should mention the U.S., The Arab nations and the Europians.

Hezbollah: The Hezbollah movement has been reported to provide military training to ICU and has made arrangements with other states on behalf of ICU for the latter to receive arms. In mid-July 2006, ICU apparently sent about 720 men to Lebanon to fight alongside Hezbollah against the Israeli military. The Somali force was personally selected by ICU's Hizbul Shabaab (youth movement) leader Aden Hashi Farah "Eyrow." One of the selection criteria was an individual's combat experience, which might include experience in Afghanistan. In exchange for the contribution of the Somali military force, Hezbollah arranged for additional support to be given to ICU by the governments of Iran and Syria.

The bottom line, you want and advocate that Somalis not resist the occupation. What you're advocating for is unrealistic. Al-Shabaab, the freedom fighters, will sooner or later liberate Somalia, insha'Allah.
