this boy thats in the film goes to my school lol.hes in my science class.he missed a lot of lessons cos he went to china.i have wanted to read it for a long time but now i have exams so no time ofr books.apparently,a thousand of splendid suns izs really good too.IInsshallah Im gonna read thatb too.Probably after exams.

Gifted, great movie indeed!! the movie didn't make me cry but it sure moved me a lot.
Cunuga yar was great actor walahi (Kan reerka u shaqeeya)

I agree. :lol: And yes the young kid was brilliant in the film. The relationship between the two boys was just beautiful, a really amazing friendship, but a very sad film.

The film doesn't do the novel any justice whatsoever. Personally, it didn't live up to my expectation(s). I've realized that all best selling novels that are turned into Hollywood productions never quite make the cut.

I heard it's about two gay afghan kids having a sexual relationship. The two actor kids aren't safe in Afghanistan anymore and have been evacuated.
