Preachers and preacher's kids are notorious in the West. It's not just the Catholic priests.

I am not certain what mosques you have local to you but i have not encountered a mosque where an imaam is exposed to individual children. Usual practices are that where lessons are being offered groups recieve these lessons together during holidays or on the weekends. It is very rare to have a 1on1 teaching session in a mosque. If it occurs in the home then it is the parents responsibility to ensure they do a proper background check on the teacher.

That said it is dangerous to have blind faith in every imaam.

i use to have a paki imam...he basically came to my house and tutored me when i was like 3/4...no idea if he raped me...but if he did, i probably suppressed the memory....
