Dalkaygoow

Postby Shirib » Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:39 pm

A beautiful song, wonderful lyrics, really moving sung by a personal family friend Fadumo Qasim.

Wallahi we had a great country and ruined it. Insha'Allah we will restore dalkayna to its old glory.

Dalkaygoow dushaadu waa barwaaqee,dalkaygoow
Dalkaygoow dabeeshaadu waa udgoonee, dalkaygoow
Dalxiis kaaga maan imaanine, dalkaygoow
Meel aan kugu doorsanayaa miyay dunidaba ku taalaa, dalkaygoow

Most Isaaq's here are child-like walahi no practicality whatsoever. Warheedhe Somalilandtan aad la wareegeysaan miyeysan aheen the identical Somalia that we all know of?

As far as I'm concerned aniga, Somali from Koonfur to Waqooyi, from Galbeed to whatever else is there belongs to Somalis and all Somalis period, for the reason that the inhabitants are mostly Isaaq, Darood or Hawiye in some area's doesn't mean that land is theirs. Somalia belongs to anyone who is Somali.
