also the second greatest genius ever - after newton - and possibly the greatest ever/or at least equal to newton. he's known mostly for his contributions/creating the queen of math (= the queen of science): number theory, math in its purest. so he's not been as impactful as newton - i mean, no one has really - because most of his work is too pure (for now). pure math (mostly gauss') is a lot hard than applied math (or anything else) and requires more brain power, that's for sure, however, not as useful as mechanics and calculus ( mostly newton's).
